4.2 Stars for the Freestanding unit & 4.6 Stars for the Inbuilt unit (Rebates
available in some states). The high efficiency (4 star plus rating) of the
Coonara gas log fires means the surface temperatures remain low eliminating
the need for any additional heat shielding to combustible walls. Minimum clearances
are only 12mm from the side and rear walls and 20mm from the top horizontal
surface. These clearances are from the firebox casing, not the heater fascia.
All Coonara gas heaters should be
installed by an accredited tradesman in accordance with local codes if any
or to ANSI Z223.1 - 1992 and NFPA 54(88) and the requirements listed in the
owners manual.
