Welcome to Real Flame gas fireplaces. The Real Flame Captiva is an efficient balanced flue fireplace. This fire features a large log set with realistic burn. The Captiva is ideal for medium sized open plan areas and does not affect room air quality.

THE REAL FLAME HEATSEEKER FRONT IRONS - The Real Flame Heatseeker front irons are the perfect finishing accessory for your fireplace. The Spanish and Ranch irons can also be brass or nickel plated.

THE REAL FLAME POWERFLUE SYSTEM - The Real Flame Powerflue system can be used on all the Real Flame fires on this page except the Montigo which has its own direct vent power system. This very handy apparatus makes it possible to position a fireplace almost anywhere and hide the flue in a bulkhead or cabinet structure.

THE REAL FLAME CAPTIVA IN STAINLESS STEEL - The Real Flame Captiva is a sealed or glass fronted direct vent gas log fire and because it has a heat exchanger as opposed to an open style convective box, it is more efficient and can heat larger areas. Available with logs or pebbles.

THE REAL FLAME CAPTIVA IN BLACK - The Real Flame Captiva is pictured here without their safety screens fitted. Installation of the Captiva is easy with its zero clearance rating and the large ceramic glass viewing area and exciting flame display means it won't get lost in a large room.

THE REAL FLAME CAPTIVA FLUE SYSTEM - The Real Flame Captiva with its balanced flue technology means no chimney is required. The flue can bend off the heater and go straight through an external wall and terminate horizontally or go straight up through the roof and out.

REAL FLAME MAGIGLO GAS BURNERS - If you just need something to fill an existing open fireplace with attractive flames then the Real Flame Magiglo gas burners are for you! Dress them with front irons and you have an attractive, low cost decorative solution to a boring black hole in the wall.

Real Flame gas fireplaces are designed and built to Australian standards and are safe to install to Real Flame specifications in timber or weatherboard homes. The Real Flame Caaptiva has an overall efficiency rating equivalent to 3.5 star and can be flued as direct vent either straight up and through the roof or out through an external wall and capped or cowled on the external wall.

All Real Flame gas fireplaces should be installed by an accredited tradesman in accordance with local codes if any or to ANSI Z223.1 - 1992 and NFPA 54(88) and the requirements listed in the owners manual.
